"The famous teachers of Karabakh" - Latif Karimov
The next historical figure of the "Famous Teachers of Karabakh" project of the Ministry of Education is Latif Karimov. He was born in 1906 in Shusha city. Latif Karimov is the founder of carpet weaving in Azerbaijan. He managed to open a separate department of carpet weaving at the Institute of Architecture and Art of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan (now ANAS). Until the end of his life, Latif Karimov worked as the head of that department, and at the same time was engaged in pedagogical activity at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts named after M. Aliyev (now the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts). Latif Karimov, who loved the art of carpet weaving, had a great contribution to the opening of carpet schools in Baku and Guba (1932-1936) for the first time. The study of Azerbaijani carpet art as a field of science and the training of professional carpet artists is connected with his name. He was both a demanding and compassionate teacher. He worked not only in the field of carpet weaving, but also in other fields of decorative applied art. The prominent artist has given a second life to Azerbaijani carpets in the true sense of the word, and has done a great job in promoting them worldwide. At the initiative of the great artist, the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum was founded in 1967, and 26 years later the museum was named after him. "I breathe with Shusha," said Latif Karimov. "Famous teachers of Karabagh" - Khudu Mammadov
The next historical figure of the "Famous Teachers of Karabagh" project of the Ministry of Education is Khudu Mammadov. He was born on December 14, 1927 in Marzili village of Aghdam region. In 1951, he graduated with honors diploma from the Azerbaijan State University (now Baku State University) and was assigned to the Institute of Chemistry of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences at the insistence of his teacher Heydar Efendiyev. His research in the fields of crystallography, crystallochemistry, structural mineralogy, symmetry theory, and structural analysis, as well as in the fields of philosophy and cultural studies, brought him world fame. "It should be the homeland of the scientist, not the homeland of science," said Khudu Mammadov, who wanted children and youth to grow up in this spirit. "Children should not be taught to love the homeland. Introduce the Motherland to them, and they will love the Motherland themselves ", he said. The path opened by the prominent scientist in our science is called "Khudu school". Khudu Mammadov had founded the "Baku School of Crystallography" for the first time. Under his leadership, more than 40 high-level scientists were trained, 30 of them defended their PhD and 10 doctoral dissertations. Khudu Mammadov always spoke proudly about the teacher specialty and the art of teaching: “A teacher is not just a person who teaches, but just interacts with students in classrooms for an hour or two. A teacher is a person who builds a bridge between time and youth, shows an example to other people with his/her personality. International creativity competition entitled "Dear Shusha, you are free! Dear Shusha, we are back! ” launched
The Ministry of Education with an organizational support of the Republican Children - Youth Development Center has launched an international creative competition called “Dear Shusha, you are free! Dear Shusha, we are back!”, which will be held from the 13th of November to the 31st of December of the current year. Due to the current pandemic situation, the competition, organized on the online platform, will be held in 3 age groups (9-11 years old, 12-14 years old, 15-17 years old) and 4 nominations (essay, poem, song, speech). Young people aged 18-28 years old can also join the competition. Participants can participate in 1 nomination and prepare their works on the submitted topics in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages. The following conditions must be taken into account when preparing the work: - The essay should have a title. It should not be more than one A4 page, it should be sent in printed form. - The poems should have a title and should not exceed 40 lines. Poems must be sent in printed form. - The song should not exceed 4 minutes. Songs will be evaluated based on melody, composition, originality and lyrics (if necessary). Writing quality is not taken into account. The lyrics of the song must be sent in printed form. - Speeches in the speech nomination should not exceed 3 minutes and should be sent in video or audio format. The text of the speech must be sent in hard copy. Today, Azerbaijani schoolboy became a victim of Armenia’s aggression. A 16-years-old Shahmali Rahimov was killed as a result of a shell fired by the Armenian armed forces on #Barda region. Shahmali was a 10th grade student at IDP full secondary school No. 94 in the Aghdam region. The number of school children who fell victim of the Armenian aggression has reached 10. May Almighty God have mercy upon him.

"Famous teachers of Karabagh" - Bulbul
The next historical figure of the "Famous Teachers of Karabagh" project of the Ministry of Education is Bulbul. Murtuza Mashadi Rza oglu Mammadov was born in 1897 in Shusha. The founder of Azerbaijan's professional vocal art, professor, public figure Bulbul has passed a great and intense creative path. Bulbul, who left an indelible mark on the history of Azerbaijan's music culture with his multifaceted activities, taught at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (now the Baku Music Academy named after U.Hajibeyov) since 1931, and since 1940 has been a professor at the same educational institution. He created a new vocal school, combining the most worthy methods of national singing with the Russian and European schools. This school has made a significant impact in the field of vocal art not only in Azerbaijan, but also in the former USSR, as well as in the Middle East. Bulbul's whole labor activity is the most obvious example of selfless service to his homeland, people and national music. He emphasized the importance of the native language and said: "A singer should sing in his/her own language in such a way, those who do not understand a singer’s native language could enjoy a song." Successful result of our students in the 37th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad
Our students who participated in the 37th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Romania have shown successful results. All members of our team were among the winners in the competition, which was virtually attended by 108 students from 18 countries. Thus, Abbas Mammadov, an 11th grade student of the Physics, Mathematics and Informatics lyceum under the Ministry of Education, won a silver medal, Togrul Abbasov, a 10th grade student of the same lyceum, and Fidan Garayeva, a 9th grade student, as well as Elchin Musazadeh, a 10th grade student of the Baku Technical-Humanitarian lyceum No.2, Yusif Gasimov, an 11th grade student of a school-lyceum No. 220, and Vugar Guliyev, an 11th grade student of Malibeyli village secondary school No. 1 in Shusha region, won bronze medals.

"Famous teachers of Garabagh" - Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli
The next historical figure of the "Famous Teachers of Garabagh" project of the Ministry of Education is Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli. He was born in 1887 in the town of Shusha. “Imagine a town at the top of a mountain with greenery in spring and summer, covered by fog in autumn and by snow in winter. This is my city ... Every point of the city tells a story ... ”said Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli, the writer-publicist, enlightened intellectual, statesman and socio-political figure, the first ambassador of the Azerbaijan People’s Democratic Republic to Turkey. For Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli, the town of Shusha was the foundation of his glorious life. The teaching also played a key role in a rich activity of Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli. He taught Azerbaijani and Russian languages at the faculties of Oriental Studies and Pedagogy of the Azerbaijan State University, and later at the Pedagogical, Medical and Petroleum Institutes. In 1938, he began working as a senior teacher of Russian language at the Kharezm Province Pedagogical Institute in Uzbekistan, and was also appointed director of the institute's library. A shell hit a school building in Aghdam region
On November 2, the Armenian Armed Forces fired Mahrizli village of Aghdam region. As a result, a secondary school named after Rahib Mammadov in Mahrizli village was severely damaged, and one building of the school is completely destroyed and became unusable. It should be noted that, 292 students study in secondary school of Mahrizli village, 35 teachers work at school. Up to now, 50 schools were damaged as a result of the enemy aggression.

"Famous teachers of Garabagh" - Ahmad bey Aghaoglu
The next historical figure of the "Famous Teachers of Garabagh" project of the Ministry of Education is Ahmad bey Aghaoglu. He was born in 1869 in Shusha. In 1896, Ahmad bey was appointed a French language teacher at the Shusha Realni school. He opened a reading library in Shusha for the first time. Educated in Paris and mastered European culture, Ahmad bey was trying to increase children's interest in secular education while teaching in Shusha. In 1897, the Baku period of Ahmad bey's life began. He came to Baku at the invitation of Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev and taught French at one of the schools. In 1925, Ahmad bey began teaching at the Ankara Higher School of Law, which he founded. Ahmad Bey, who played a great role in the formation of enlightenment, literature and statehood in Azerbaijan, went down in history as a socio-political figure of the Turkish world, journalist, pedagogue and writer.
