Vocational Education
According to the Decree No. 869 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 20, 2016 “On establishment and operation of the State Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, the State Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education was established, and its regulation was approved.
The State Agency for Vocational Education
According to the Decree No. 869 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 20, 2016 “On establishment and operation of the State Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, the State Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education was established, and its regulation was approved.
The State Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan is an executive authority that ensures and coordinates the implementation of state policy in the field of vocational education and organizes the activities of vocational education institutions under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Directions of the Activity of the Agency
As a result of the socio-economic policy implemented in recent years, Azerbaijan has developed significantly, the material well-being of the population has greatly improved, the level of poverty has been reduced to a minimum and the country is now among the middle-income countries. The implemented reforms and large-scale infrastructure projects have created conditions for the reconstruction and sustainable development of socio-economic life.

Vocational Directions
The next strategic task facing the country is to ensure sustainable economic development and improve the living standards of the population by further modernizing socio-economic life and adapting it to the best international practices. To achieve this, the State Agency for Vocational Education is currently working on nine vocational directions.
