The next person of the project of the Ministry of Education "Famous Teachers of Garabakh" is Mehdi Mehdizadeh. He was born in 1903 in Dashkasan village of Jabrayil region. In 1926, he graduated from the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute (now the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University) and for some time worked as a teacher of physics and mathematics in the city of Qaryagin (Fizuli). Mehdi Mehdizadeh  has an important role in the development of our education and science. Academician Mehdi Mehdizadeh has created a real school in the field of education management. That school, founded by a great pedagogue, has not lost its significance today. The next historical person of the project of the Ministry of Education "Famous Teachers of Garabakh" is Firidun bey Kocharli. Firidun bey Kocharli, originally from Shusha, taught the Azerbaijani language and calligraphy at the Iravan gymnasium in 1885-1890 and 1893-1894. In 1895, he was appointed a teacher of the Azerbaijani language and Sharia to the Tatar department of the Gori Teachers' Seminary. In 1918-1920, he worked as the director of the Gazakh Teachers' Seminary, which was opened on his initiative on the basis of Gori Teachers' Seminary. According to Firidun bey Kocharli the teaching profession is above of all other professions. He had called a teacher “a beacon illuminating the future”. In his words, “There is no bad student, there is a teacher who does not understand the student properly. It is the teacher's duty to bring up even the most difficult child”. In each of his speeches, the prominent writer was highlighting an importance of involvement of girls in education. The eminent educator was bringing to the attention of people that an educated woman would raise her children as literate in the future. Criminal actions of the Armenian armed forces against our civilian population continue. Unfortunately, today our another schoolchild became a victim of enemy aggression. The deceased Aysu Isgandarova was a 2nd grade schoolchild of Garayusifli village secondary school of Barda region. We pray the God for the soul of our deceased schoolchild and convey our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones!

Abdurrahim bey Asad bey oghlu Hagverdiyev was born in Agbulag village around Shusha suburb of Karabakh district in 1870. Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev, who was a writer, playwright, pedagogue, literary critic, theater figure, coryphaeus of classical Azerbaijani literature, gave lectures on literature at the Azerbaijan State University (Baku State University -present), operated as enlightened educated man. Abdurrahim Bey Hagverdiyev wrote that the role of theater in the enlightenment of the people was irreplaceable: "The best way to talk to the people, to call them to culture and enlightenment was the theater stage." One of the highest goals of the writer was to bring up children in the spirit of devotion to national and moral values, to instill love for the Motherland. The idea of Abdurrahim Bey Hagverdiyev’s story "Father and Son" is the true expression of the writer's life: "Blessed is he whose name lives on in tongues after death, and who is remembered with reverence and mercy." The next person of the project of the Ministry of Education "Famous Teachers of Garabakh" is Aliyar Aliyev. Aliyar Aliyev was born on December 14, 1957 in Gazyan village of Gubadli region. After graduating with honorary diploma from the Azerbaijan State Institute of Physical Education in 1979, he worked as a sports teacher in the Dondarli village school of Gubadli region for some time. For two years, Aliyar Aliyev worked as a teacher at Saransk State University and then continued his pedagogical activity in his native village. Aliyar Aliyev is well known for his heroism in the Garabakh war. He was posthumously awarded the title of “National Hero of Azerbaijan” by the decree of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the morning hours on October 26, the Armenian Armed Forces fired at a secondary school building in Garadagli village of Aghdam region. As a result, the school building was severely damaged. It should be noted that, 400 pupils study in Garadagli village secondary school, 43 teachers work at the school. To date, over 40 school buildings have been damaged by enemy aggression.

Suleyman Rahimov was born on March 22, 1900 in Ayin village of Zangazur province (present Gubadli region). He got primary education in a two-grade Russian school. Then he graduated from technical school and higher education institution. He started working as a teacher at the newly opened school in Khanlig village in 1921. After studying at a pedagogical course in Shusha, he worked as a teacher for a long time in different regions of Zangazur province. He came to Baku in the autumn of 1928 and studied at the history department of Azerbaijan State University and at the same time taught adult workers in a two-shift literacy course in Garashahar. Today two more of our schoolchildren have become the victims of the Armenian aggression: Ismayilzade Orkhan and Mayakov Artur. Orkhan, student of the 10th grade of Khoruzlu school at Tartar district, was killed as a result of the artillery shelling by the armed forces of Armenia early in the morning of October 24. Another student Artur was heavily injured as a result of the missile attack launched to Ganja on October 17. Today Artur closed his eyes forever in the hospital after a week-long intensive treatment. Artur was the 7th grade student at the school number 29 in Ganja. I am deeply saddened by the loss of their lives and sincerely express my condolences to their families and relatives.

Suleyman Sani Akhundov was one of the persons playing an exceptional role in the cultural development of the people of Azerbaijan at the beginning of the last century, a prominent writer, prosaist and enlighter. He was born on October 3, 1875 in Shusha. He studied at Gori Teachers' Seminary in 1885-1894. After graduation, he was appointed as a teacher at the III degree Russian-Tatar school. He was engaged in pedagogical activity till the end of his life. Suleyman Sani Akhundov participated in the First Congress of Azerbaijani Teachers in 1906 too. In 1920-1921 he was the head of the education department of the Karabakh province, in 1922-1930 he was the headmaster of a school in Baku.
