Officials of The Ministry of Education, representatives of State Commission on Struggle against Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, NGO leaders took part in the event. Vasif Mammadov, acting head of department of organization of non-school activiy of The Ministry of Education informed about project in the ceremony. He stated that, the trainings, at the same time the tournaments have been conducted for generally 180 pupils in the Baku, Sumgait, Shaki, Ganja, Lankaran and Shamkir cities within framework of project implemented by purpose to execute relevant item of “State Program on struggle against illegal trafficiking of the drugs, its psychotropic substances and precursors and drug addiction for 2013-2018”. Pupils have been informed about strong life style, also they achieved primary knowledges through using interactive teaching methods within framework of the trainings. “Republic Interschools Debate Forum 2014” held after series of training and tournaments. Team from 60 schools from Baku, Ganja, Shaki, Lankaran and Shamkir cities took part in the forum. As a result of the tournaments, “Debal” Baku European Lyceum and “Kommunikadze” of secondary school No.  of Sumgait achieved right to struggle in the final. Final game held after official speeches. Winning his rival, “Debal” team of Baku European Lyceum was awarded to “Strong life” Cup. Jury announced winners’ names on the nomination of “the best orator”. Umid Mahmudov pupil of Baku European Lyceum kept I place, Chinara Mustafayeva pupil of secondary school no of Shaki city II place, Nihad Aliyev pupil of Baku European Lyceum III place on this nomination.

Contest will be organized by The Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Youth and Sport, Heydar Aliyev Center, Republic Committee of Free Trade Union of Education Workers.  Main goal of contest is to allow upper grade pupils demonstrate their scientifical achievements and determine the candidates to be participated in the Intel ISEF– International Science and Engineering exhibition organized every year in the USA. This contest is qualification round for most prestigious international event held among the pupils in the world. Submission of 106 scientific project of 200 pupils in the contest is expected. 67 of them have been compiled in collective form,  but 39 in individual form. Author of 3 projects will obtain right to take part in Intel ISEF exhibition to be held on may in the Pittsburg city of state of Pennsylvania of USA.

Teachers to be selected under contest, will obtain right to take part in the new format and content training within framework of “Foundation” scholarship program. Participants will be acquainted with new approaches on the topics of age physiology and psychology, philosophy of primary education and learning theories, practical pedagogical skill and Information Communication Technologies literacy during 16 weeks. Trainees will take part in the final valuation. Participants who demonstrated satisfactory result in the examinations, will be awarded to certificate and training resources.     The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic invites primary schools teachers who educate in the IV grade of the schools functioning at Baku city to take part in the “Foundation” scholarship program.

Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education took part in the concert held in the Azerbaijan National Art Museum. Leaders of culture and art higher and secondary educational institutions, directors of secondary schools took part in the event as well.     Presidential scholars and laureates of international contest performed the compositions of Azerbaijan also world composers with violin, piano and tar as well as they sounded tracks from the areas. Making a speech after concert, Mikayil Jabbarov minister of education congratulated all youth on occasion of The Day of Youth organized by our national leader Heydar Aliyev in 1996. Minister stressed that wide horizons were opened before the youth as a result of care and attention of state leader Ilham Aliyev. Reminding special role of Heydar Aliyev Fund and its president Mehriban khanum Aliyeva in the development of Azerbaijan music culture, Mikayil Jabbarov wished the successes to the adminstration and pupils of secondary music school named after Bulbul.

Team of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center (RSC) took part in the championship organized in the Weightlifting Academy. Team was formed among the best athletes of sport schools under The Ministry of Education on box type. Athletes of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center who demonstrated successful performance in the championship achieved 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medal. So, Laman Ahmadova kept  1 st place on 58 kg weight category, Afgan Bayramov on 77 weight category and Azar Mammadov on 105 kg weight category. Ali Aliyev kept 2 nd place on 105 kg weight category, Emin Gojayev kept 3 rd place on 85 kg weight category and Ceyhun Magerramov on 94 kg weight category.

According to the statistics, 4381 calls (6.7 times more than relevant period of 2013, 1.8 times more than 2014) were received by Call Center and nearly 3000 calls received by Swtichboard servive. 4214 citizens were served in the Citizens Reception Center. Majority of the appeals received by Call Center and Citizens Reception Service (mostly are inquiries), have been responded immediately and settled operatively. According to their inquiries, 545 citizens were registered in the reception of relevant authorized persons in electronic form. 1300 documents (440 references, 691 letters, 169 other documents) have been received and registered in the Citizens Reception Center. Most of received appeals were related to the issues like recognition of educational documents (diplomas), replacement of the pupils in the secondary educational institutions, restoration and transfer of the students in the higher educational institutions, replacement and recruitment of the teachers. It should be noted that, Call Center was appealed on Monday (1018 calls) and Tuesday (1024 calls) of the week, mostly  from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 16:30 over past month. Citizens Reception Center was appealed on Monday (969 appeals) and Wednesday (908 appeals) of the week from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14;00 to 16:00.

130 athletes of 21 sport school under The Ministry of Education took part in the contest organized in the Specialized Olympic Reserves Child-Youth Sport School No. 13. Contests held on 9 weight category were managed by international referees appointed by Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. Goal of contest is to determine team of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center on type of freestyle wrestling. Absheron Child-Youth Sport School kept 1 st place, Child-Youth Wrestling School No. 6 2 nd place, Ganja Branch of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center 3 rd place on team score in the championship. Members of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center were selected among the athletes who demonstrated higher result in the contest. Team that consist of these wrestlers will represent “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center on the same age group on february in the Azerbaijan championship.

20 team competed in the contest held in the Shagan Olymic Sport Complex. Team of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center (RSC) took part in the championship as well. Achieving 1 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medal, athletes of Center were awarded to the 4 th place on team score. Athletes of “Təhsil” Republic Sport Center demonstrated successful results in the individual contests. Muhammad Abdullayev was awarded to the 1 st place on 80 kg weight category, Elvin Safarov 2 nd place on 48 weight category and Ismayil Safarli on 57 kg weight category, Elvin Atakishiyev kept the 3 rd place on 70 kg weight category, Nurlan Alizadeh on 75 kg weight category, Ali Hashimli on 80 kg weight category and Ilkin Ismayilov on more than 80 kg weight category.
