The eight teams of sport schools under The Ministry of Education, took part in the tournament held in the school no. 12 in Baku. The tournament has been held in 2 semi- groups. Republic Specialized Olympic Reserves Child-Youth Chess School, Republic Specialized Olympic Reserves Child- Youth Sport School no. 2, Specialized Olympic Reserves Child- Youth Football School and Specialized Olympic Reserves Child- Youth Sport Center no. 13 achieved chance to take part in the semi-final stage. Republic Specialized Olympic Reserves Child- Youth Sport School no. 2 and Specialized Olympic Reserves Child- Youth Sport Center no. 13 who defeated their rivals in the semi- final stage, achieved chance to take in the final stage. Republic Specialized Olympic Reserves Child- Youth Chess School kept the 3 rd place.   Main time of final stage ended with draw. The teams determined the winner of tournament with penalty kicks because of non party could open the score in the extra time. Specialized Olympic Reserves Child- Youth Sport Center no. 13 won the match and kept the 1 st place. The winner and differed teams have been awarded to cup and the diplomas.

By purpose to increase pupils’ interest to the subject of mathematics, detect talented pupils, demonstrate pupils’ knowledge and abilities and create positive competition among the pupils, 267 pupils from 30 schools on Baku and Sumgait cities took part in the contest held in the  Physics- mathematics and information science lyceum. According to the rules of contest, each school was represented by the team that consist of totaly 9 pupils including 3 pupils from every VI, VII and VIII grades. According to the results of the first stage of contest, school-lyceum no. 220 of Baku kept the 1 st place, secondary school no. 62 of Baku the 2 nd, Natural sciences lyceum of Sumgait the 3 rd, lyceum named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva of Baku the 4 th, Technical and natural sciences lyceum of Sumgait the 5 th place. According to individual results in this stage, Murad Agazade, pupil of school-lyceum no. 220 of Baku on VI grades, Anar Rzayev, pupil of education complex no. 134 of Baku on VII grades, Aykhan Macidli, pupil of lyceum named after Heydar Aliyev of Baku on VIII grades and Anar Ahmadov (the pupils of VIII grade obtained the same points), pupil of Natural sciences yceum of Sumgait, obtained the highest result.  It should be noted that, more two stages of contest on the subject of mathematics will be held till the end of current year. According to common results of the next stages, the pupils who were differed both of individual and in team score will be warded to valuable prizes. The second stage of contest, is expected to conduct on november 29, 2014.

The game consisted of 2 qualification and 2 final games. “Nakhcivan”and “NUR” (Baku) teams met in the first qualification stage. “NUR” (Baku) won the game with a great points. The second qualification game took place between “NORM Cement” və “Romantic” teams and ended with the victory of “Romantic”.  “NORM Cement” və “Romantic” competed in the final games. At first “Romantic” (5:3) then “NUR” (Baku) (5:4) won the games held under equal condition. Therefore, there was a need for additional question and “Romantic” who responded question correctly and obtained to chance to take part in the final game. The game for the championship of this month will be held on november 30. The winners of the games held on november will take part in the same game and team who keeps the 1 st place will take part in the final stage of “The Cup of Knowledge”. The final game is expected to held on december 14. It should be noted that, 30 teams from 15 regions of country compete for “The Cup of Knowledge” organized by The Ministry of Education. The winners of september and october months of the contest started on september 7, had already been determined.

252 pupils from 28 school on Baku and Sumgait cities took part in the contests orgaznied by purpose to increase pupils’ interest to the subjects of physics, chemistry and biology, detect talented puils, demonstrate pupils’ knowledge and skills and create positive competition among the pupils. Each school were represented by the team that consist of totaly 9 pupils including 3 pupils from every VII, VIII and IX grades.   According to the results of I stage of physics, chemistry and biology subject contests, 5 schools demonstrated the highest result on team score.  They are “Zəkalar” lyceum no. 287, Natural sciences gymnasium of Sumgait city, Humanitarian and natural-mathematics “İstedad” lyceum of Sumgait city, school-lyceum no. 220 of Baku city and Ecology lyceum no. 291 of Baku city. According to the individual results of this stage, Turan Bayramli, pupil of Ecology lyceum no. 291 of Baku city on VII grades and Elshan Nagizade, pupil of the same lyceum on VIII grades, Nigar Eyvazzade, pupil of school-lyceum no. 261 on IX grades demonstrated the highest result. The 2 nd stage of the contests is expected to conduct on november 29. Another stage (3 rd) of the contests will be conducted till the end of year. According to general results of this stage, the pupils differed in both of individual and team score, will be awarded to the valuable prizes.

Main goal of project, is to create condition for the pupils to be acquainted with  artistic literature, documental composition and other text types, also increase of reading interest in the pupils through establishing reading community under the education institutions. The project to be stated form the december of this year, will be presented in the secondary school no .23 named after Tahir Hasanov of Baku city and Technical and natural sciences lyceum of Sumgait city. Evaluation of different text types of reading literature, exchange among the teachers and pupils, creation of reflection reading habits in the pupils, are envisaged within framework of project. Also, achievement of formation and publicity of efficient detection and valuable share culture in the pupils using Information Communication Technologies, are the priorities of the project. Participation of I-XI grade pupils of education institutions, parents, teachers, adminstrative staff (school director and his deputies), as well as public representatives, child unon, extended group and preschool group’s leaders, is expected in the project.

302 of 978 projects submitted in the contest passed to III stage. According to relevant evaluation, the authors of works who obtained higher points in this stage, will make a speech with presentation before Organizational Committee. The contest is supported by “Dr. Web”, “Education for future” program of Intel corporation, “Edumedia-Azerbaijan”, “AZEDUNET”, “Ultra”, Madad Azerbaijan and “Nar Mobile” companies. He winners of contest will be awarded to special diplomas, notebooks, tablets, printers and other prizes by The Ministry of Education.

Several prominent cultural and fine arts figures of republic, as well as national artists of republic Arif Babayev, Rauf Babayev, Azerpasha Nematov together with teacher and teacher staff of Music College took part in the meeting. Opening jubilee evening, Nazim Kazimov, director of college informed the visitors about Siyavush Karimi’s life and creative way, public, pedagogical activity. National artists like Arif Babayev, Rauf Babayev, Azerpasha Nematov, Agajabrayil Abbasaliyev talked their different interesting memories related to composer. Event was continued with concert program in performance of Music College’s students. Samples for the compositions of Azerbaijan and world composers, have been sounded in different solo performances. Jubileer performed one of his songs together with honorary artist Anar Shushali while coming to the stage at the end of concert. Making a speech at the end of event,  thanking event’s participants of Music College, the performers who demonstrated interesting program, jubileer stressed that he will do his best for development of Azerbaijan’s music culture.

There are generally 20 e-textbooks in the portal. Users can freely download  e -textbooks on VII grade in e-pub, offline and online format  from portal. Total number of website users is 16591 till today, aswell as 5199 on Baku, 1275  for Sumgait, 567 on Ganja cities. New initiative of “BP-Azerbaijan” surrounded up to 200 upper grade pupils selected from the secondary schools of Baku. Inititatve invloved the pupils of 8-10 th grade who are interested in technical subjects and have higher potential, is implemented by “Development of Young Engineers” Public Union. By purpose to support the pupils to select their future career directions within framework of initiative, several trainings have been conducted. Favourable condition has been created for the participants to obtain wide information on experience and knowledges of professional engineers, also information on the opprtunities on the sphere of engineering in projects where BP is operator in Azerbaijan in the semnars. The program of seminars consisted of the presentations on engineering specialties, interesting talks on the careers of BP’s experienced engineers, also special psyhcologicaland capability tests for the participants. After completion of the seminars, all participants have been awarded the certificates, most successful pupils with the prizes.

Memorandum has been signed by Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education and Knt Terje Ingebresten, executive director of Central Fund. Goal in signing of memorandum, is to contribute in development of vocational education and training (VET) in Azerbaijan under national strategies determined by The Ministry of Education, also support in creation of content, as well as method, infrastructure in accordance with the requirements of modern vocational education and training system. Core directions of project “Development and Strengtheing of Vocational Education and Training in Azerbaijan” include increase of teacher and management staff’s competencies on vocational training, updating of vocational education and training’s content, compilation and improvement of the curriculums. Number of actions will be taken under creation of legislation that ensures of collaboration among relevant bodies, primary vocational education and industrial enterprises, strenthening of the relations between the employers and PTT within framework of project. It should be noted that, Rogaland Training and Education Center is allocated 15.9 million Norway cron by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway by purpose to develop and strengthen Vocational Education Training system in Azerbaijan.
