• Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

    Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

The ceremony of signing of Collaboration Memorandum about “Development and Strengthening of Vocational Education and Training in Azerbaijan”, has been held between The Ministry of Education and Rogaland Training and Education Center Fund of Norway on november 26.

Memorandum has been signed by Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education and Knt Terje Ingebresten, executive director of Central Fund.
Goal in signing of memorandum, is to contribute in development of vocational education and training (VET) in Azerbaijan under national strategies determined by The Ministry of Education, also support in creation of content, as well as method, infrastructure in accordance with the requirements of modern vocational education and training system.
Core directions of project “Development and Strengtheing of Vocational Education and Training in Azerbaijan” include increase of teacher and management staff’s competencies on vocational training, updating of vocational education and training’s content, compilation and improvement of the curriculums. Number of actions will be taken under creation of legislation that ensures of collaboration among relevant bodies, primary vocational education and industrial enterprises, strenthening of the relations between the employers and PTT within framework of project.
It should be noted that, Rogaland Training and Education Center is allocated 15.9 million Norway cron by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway by purpose to develop and strengthen Vocational Education Training system in Azerbaijan.
