Organization of “Future teacher scholarship” serves to training of pedagogical staff who have professional skills and competencies in accordance with “State Strategy on development of education in Azerbaijan Republic”. It should be noted that, final phase of Cup of Regions under game “What? Where? When?” was held on september 21, 2014. Cup of regions, has been organized by financial support of Youth Fund under The President of Azerbaijan Republic. Eidon” team of Ganja State University kept 1 st place with 21 points and won Cup of regions.   Yusif Yusifov, rector of univrsity has been awarded to honorary diploma by the organizers due to care rendered to youth.

As our great leader stated that, teacher is human who prepared us to life and brings us to present days. If we look at our life way, regardless of age, post, position we see that, we are obliged for our teachers together with our parents. We moved toward the targets through way pointed by our teachers. This is a mission. Wisdoms stated that, teacher is not human who teaches us but human we learn. We had a great teachers in the past: Uzeir Hajibayov, Firudin Kocharli, Mehdi Mehdizada, Mir Jalal, Abbas Zamanov and other tens of teachers who continue this honorable list. They were in the past, are now, will be in future.  One of main columns of new education philosophy of Azerbaijan, was created on teacher personality. Increase of public reputation of teacher occupation, his higher material and moral motivation, involvement of talented youth in pedagogical education- these are most important factors for realization of educational reforms in our country.   Our state always evaluated name and labor of teacher. Appreciation of labor of our teachers awarded by order of President recently and awarding of them to higher names, reclett this opinion again. Also, 300 students who obtained 500 and more points in admission examinations in pedagogical specialties of the universities of our country, have been awarded to monthly scholarship of The Ministry of Education. We again congratulate all our teachers, as well as newly awarded and our future teachers who were awarded to monthly scholarship. P.S. We learned to write, learn, think from our teachers. We remembered our past with our teachers, shared our today with them. But greatest misison of the teachers are connected with future. How to say, future is the composition of the teahcers.

A. Radkov, first deputy of head of Belarus Presidential Adminstration welcomed nearly 500 representatives on behalf of Belarus’ president in the conference. Firudin Gurbanov, deputy minister of education also took part as observer in the meeting of Council on cooperation on educational sphere of CIS’ s member states within framework of conference. Special importance of announcement of 2016 as “Education year” in enlargement of cooperation on this sphere, was stressed, also discussions regarding with organization of the next event, have been realized. F.Gurbanov met S. Maskevich, Minister of Education of Belarus, also rectors of several universities, as well as S. Ablameyko, rector of Belarus State University, A. Juk, rector of Belarus State Pedagogical University named after Maksim Tank and A. Shklyar, rector of Vocational Institute and made exchange of opinion wtihin framework of visit. After meeting with A. Shklyar, rector of Vocational Institute, F. Gurbanov visited contrsution, machine-building and auto repair resource centers of this educational establihsment. Future cooperation issues, have been discussed between two countries. Meanwhile, deputy minister F. Gurbanov visited Azerbaijan Language and Cultural Center functioning under Belarus State University named after Maksim Tank and met university’ s student and teachers. Isfandiyar Vahabzada, ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belarus also took part in the same meting. Wide content speeches of deputy minister F. Gurbanov and ambassador I. Vahabzada, have been listened with a great interest.   F.Gurbanov, took part in opening of monument “My first teacher” placed in front of the same university. A. Tozik, deputy prime minister of Belarus Republic also participated in opening ceremony.

30 teams from our country take part in the contests broadcasted via “AzTV” channel. Two amd two final games, have been held in order to determine one of 4 finalists of october month. “Shabran” and “Azerbaijan club” teams competed each other n the first qualifiction game. “Azerbaijan club” won the game with score of 5-2. The second qalification game has been held between “Nar Mobile” and “Barda” teams and “Nar Mobile” won the game with 1 point difference. “Azerbaijan club” and “Nar Mobile” teams struggled in final games. Both of games ended with victory of “Nar Mobile”. Thus, “Nar Mobile” obtained participation right in the final game of october month.  Brain-ring games for “Cup of knowledge” will last till the end of year and names of owners of “Cup of knowledge” organized by The Ministry of Education, will be knew in the 15 th game. Champions of september, october and november months will take aprt in the same game. It should be reminded that, winner of september month was “Capital bank”. Winner of “”Cup of knowledge” will be awarded to e-reader by The Ministry of Education. At the same time, winner teams will be presented the tablets and plastic card with 3 000 Azn account by the sponsors.

Nearly 250 students who study at SABAH groups of different higher educational establishments of our country, take part in 2 days forum.    Main goal of forum is giving detailed information about strategically targets of country’s education, determination of the students’ roles in creation of community who has higher knowledge according to the requirements of modern time, creation of dialogue among the students. Making a speech in opening ceremony, Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of education stated that, new challenges of globalizing world and necessity for creation of community who has higher knowledge entirely put new requirements before Azerbaijan youth. From this point of view, one of strategically targets of country’s education is to develop youth’ potential according to “State Strategy on development of education in Azerbaijan Republic”. SABAH groups project also is one of actions implemented on this direction. As state leader mentioned that, Azerbaijan citizens can obtain higher quality education in our higher educational establishments as in abroad. Today we can’t imagine modern education without quickness, professionalism, new technologies according to globalizing world, also beyond of learning of foreign languages. Each of these processes are reflected in SABAH groups. It should be noted that, SABAH groups have been established in teaching laboratories with scientific-pedagogical potential under 33 specialties and 7 universities that have higher material- technical base. 158 teachers teach the students in these groups where 688 students study. Teaching is performed under different program in SABAH groups and students are given special scholarship, at the same time, students from low income families, are equipped with the hostels.

Action of SABAH Forum held by organization of The Ministry of Education for the first time, ended on October 11. Nearly 250 students who study at SABAH groups of different higher educational establishments of our country, take part in 2 days forum.  “Master lessons” have been conducted for the students in the second day of forum. Famous public representatives made their speeches on the topics of “Career development”, “Are you deserved to leadership”, “You are also one brand” and “Keep your time”. Aftermath, discussions started by participation of Mikayil Jabbarov, The Minister of Education, Shahmar Movsumov, executive director of State Oil Fund, Rufat Aslanov, chairman of State Commission on the Securities, Khalid Ahadov, first deputy chairman of management board of UNI Bank, Gunduz Karimov, deputy dean of Baku State University, famous shouman Murad Dadashov. All questions interested in the students, have been determined through voting and discussions, have been made on concrete direction. These directions leadership quality, decision making, career development, share of responsibility and education concept topics in the formula of knowledge, skills and capability. Then, event continued with sport and entertainment contets. Selected students have been awarded to thesertificates, as well as movie descibed to event has been demonstrated in closing ceremony of forum.

Minister of education was acquainted with the course of construction works in the general secondary school to be constructed in Hil village of region within framework of visit. It should be noted that, building of 187- seat secondary school functioning in the Hil village, is being constructed. Last completion works are one the eve in newly constructed school. Also, minister was acquainted with teaching condition of 720- seat secondary school functioning in the Hil village. Achievements of education institution, were discussed with the members of pedagogical staff and course of lesson was watched in several classrooms. Then, minister of education received the citizens living in Gusar, Guba, Khachmaz, Shabran, Khizi and Siyazan regionsin Guisar Olympic Sport Complex. Citizens mostly appealed regarding with the issues like recruitment of the teachers or change of work place from one school to another one, also from one region to another one, replacement of higher and secondary education students from one education institution to another one, study fee, study in abroad, awarding of honorary titles and other issues. Appeal of 63 citizens, were listened in the reception and most of issues, were settled immdediately. Relevant bodies of the ministry, have been tasked regarding with several appeals.   Appeals of several citizens that aren’t related to ministry’ authority or personal character, have been registered and controlled in order to deliver them to the attention of relevant bodies.

According to rception schedule of the leaders of central executive powers on reception of the citizens in town and regions for october, 2014, appeal of the citizens have been listened in the reception held in Tartar Youth Center and most of isues, have been settled immediately. Relevant bodies have been tasked regarding with several appeals. Personal appeals of several citizens or the appeals that are beyond of ministry power, are registered in order to deliver in relevant bodies.

Number of the students who have differentiating academic indicators, was more than the previous years in qualification process organized in higher competition environment. As a result of the interviews held by participation of the representatives of state bodies and higher education establishments, name of 571 students who obtained right to study in the leading higher education establishments of the world, has been added in the list of Program grant-aided-students. Graduating from the universities like Harward, Oxford, HEC Paris, MDBMI, these students will guarantee sustainable development of the relevnt spheres while returning Azerbaijan in a short time. As main goal of State Program is to meet the demand for high skilled personnel of our country for a short perspective, preference has been given to further education levels after bachelor in this years’ selections. So, as a result of the selections 309 persons achieved chance to study at master degree, 44 persons at doctoral, 65 persons at residency degree. 153 students who demonstrated higher knowledge, foreign language training during interview, also the participants of international olympiad and who obtained SSAC indicators on the sphere of engineering, medical, information technologies determined as priority for our country, achieved chance to study at base higher medical and bachelor education levels. Fortunately, for the first time 9 persons achieved chance to study on important spheres like agriculture, 14 persons on organization and management of study. It was generally observed that, most of students prefer to study in Turkey, Great Britain and other english language countries. In addition to mentioned countries, 29 persons achieved chance to study in Canada, 25 in Russia, 19 Australia, 16 in USA. Preparation works on the direction of determination of contest conditions for the next academic year, are continued and students will be informed about final issues on the eve of new academic year.
