Changes have been made to the "Rules on payment of tuition fees of Azerbaijani youth in higher education institutions of foreign countries", approved by the decision no. 261 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic dated November 27, 2008 on paying monthly stipends to students, studying in the UK, in Pound Sterling within the framework of the "State Program on education of Azerbaijani youth abroad in the years 2007-2015". The execution of the "State Program on education of Azerbaijani youth abroad in the years 2007-2015", approved by Order No. 2090 dated April 16, 2007 of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, and the provision of financial support for students, studying within this framework, to gain specialty knowledge and get a quality education are in the spotlight of the Ministry of Education. The changes, observed in the euro exchange rate as a result of the financial crisis occurred in European countries in recent times, have negatively affected the financial situation of Azerbaijani youth, studying in the UK within the framework of the State Program. Given the numerous appeals received from students and parents by the Ministry of Education, on the basis of the joint request of the Ministry of Education and the State Oil Fund, the changes have been made by the Decision No. 268 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic dated 21.07.2015 to the Rules on paying monthly stipends to students, studying in the UK, not in Euro but in Pound Sterling since the academic year 2015-2016. This step will ensure the protection of scholarships of students, studying in the UK within the framework of the State Program, from the recent changes in the euro exchange rate. We are confident that all students, studying within the framework of the State Program, will graduate with high academic achievements and will contribute to the reforms conducted for the future development of Azerbaijan and the welfare of our people.

The competitive examination for recruitment of teachers will be held at the 2nd academic building (AZ1072, Baku, Narimanov district, Hasan Aliyev street 135) of Azerbaijan State Economic University on June 21-29, 2015. A total of 24 437 people have submitted an application and the applications of 21 795 people have been accepted. The vast majority of the applicants are primary school teachers. Muhammad Shirinov and Farid Hasanli - members of Azerbaijani team won a bronze medal in the Olympiad. The incentive prizes were presented to Mirali Ahmadli, Tahir Nadirov, Anar Huseynov and Farman Dumanov. The Ministry of Education pays special attention to the selection and development of talented students. Thus, the Olympiad Centers were opened in lyceums and gymnasiums, directly subordinated to the Ministry. The Olympiad Centers operate in order to prepare schoolchildren with special talents for national and international Olympiads. As well as, the entrance examinations of VI, VII, VIII grade students for these academic institutions were conducted in a centralized manner. The main purpose of the conduction of these examinations is to identify talented students and to provide them with a quality education on the basis of the different programs. Since this year, many innovations have been applied to the process of conducting the Republican Subject Olympiads. So, unlike previous years, Olympiad questions were not applied openly, but were presented in test format at the initial stage in order to ensure transparency and fair evaluation. In addition, for the first time, the champion was determined on the nomination "The winner of the winners" among the participants in each subject.

100 people are expected to be admitted to the Baku branch of First Moscow State Medical University on specialty "Medical care". Although the teaching process is conducted in Russian, the competition will be held jointly for the entrants of Russian and Azerbaijani sections. Education is free for Azerbaijani citizens. The campaign, organized with the support of the Office of the National Seaside Park, was held in order to demonstrate children`s support for the Baku 2015 First European Games and their creativity. Within the framework of the campaign entitled "The colors of SABAH", white board that can be painted and paints were placed in the special corner of the Seaside National Park by volunteers studying in SABAH groups of the Ministry of Education. The board and paints have attracted the attention of parents who come with their children. Parents and children were informed about the Baku 2015 First European Games by "SABAH Volunteer". Then the colorful paints were presented to children who want to participate in the campaign. After submission of paints, "European Games" logo was painted within 4 hours by more than 150 children. Every child, drawing a picture, has signalized his (her) name and age by putting the handprint on paintings. The gifts, reflecting the symbols of the European Games, were presented to children, participating in the campaign, by "SABAH Volunteer". It should be noted that Mugam Television Contest is held since 2005 with support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, on the basis of the project of Azerbaijan Culture Foundation, with organizational support of Azerbaijan TV, with participation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. 20 young singers were chosen from among 500 candidates participating in selection process (rounds) held in Barda, Shamakhi and Baku. Performances of young singers were assessed by a jury consisting of connoisseurs of mugham - People's Artists Alibaba Mammadov, Arif Babayev, Sakina Ismailova, Mansum Ibrahimov, Ramiz Guliyev and honored artists Sardar Farajov and Nadir Akhundov. Nisbet Sedrayeva participated in many competitions and festivals during the study period at school. She was awarded first place in the II Republican contest of young performers dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and organized by the Ministry of Education in 2013. She became the laureate of the II Republican contest of national musical instruments and singers in 2014.
