Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed Orders on “Enhancing the Scope of Project on Intensive English Language Teaching” and “Continuation of the Project on Intensive Russian Language Teaching”.

Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed Orders on “Enhancing the Scope of Project on Intensive English Language Teaching” and “Continuation of the Project on Intensive Russian Language Teaching”.

Based on the Order on “Enhancing the Scope of Project on Intensive English Language Teaching”, it’s decided to implement the “Intensive English Language Teaching” Project, applied in 7 pilot schools of Baku city since 2008-2009 education year, in 50 pilot schools within 2013-2014 education year. Also, continuation of joint project of the Ministry of Education and “British Council” in I-IV and V-X forms of the selected pilot schools of Baku city and its applying to I forms of secondary school #116 of Baku city are considered in the Order. In the Order the start to implement the project is also noted in: I forms of Ganja city gymnasium with foreign languages bias and secondary school #4, Mingachevir city schools #3 and #4, Sumgait “Tafakkur” lyceum and school #23, Shirvan city schools #9 and #21, Guba city schools #3 and #4, Gusar city #2 and #6, Khachmaz #1 and #8, Shamakhi European lyceum and school #2, Ismayilli city schools # 3 and #5, Shaki city schools #8 and #10, Gabala city schools #3 and #1, Zagatala city school #2 and lyceum with technical bias named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva, Lankaran city school #4 and gymnasium with foreign languages bias, Yevlakh city schools #5 and #9, Salyan city secondary schools #1 and #7. Also in the order the issues such as: provision of 520 English language teachers with relevant trainings during teaching year, provision of pilot schools with manuals and supplies have been described.

Based on the Order on “Continuation of Intensive Russian Language Teaching Project”, the continuation of the intensive Russian language teaching project of the Ministry of Education is considered within 2013-2014 teaching year in the I-IV and V-IX forms of the following schools: schools of Baku city #3, 12, 13, 20, 36, 42, 45, 51, 63, 70, 95, 106, 129, 178, 193, 212, 238, 244, 245, 246, 274, 250, 257, 263, 265, 272, 275, 276, 278, 283, 284, 286, 292, 295 and Kindergarten-School-Lyceum Complex, Ganja city school #5, Mingachevir city technical – humanitarian lyceum, Sumgait city #11, Shirvan city school #3, Absheron region school #2, Ismayilli region Talistan village, Shaki region school #5, Shamakhi region #6, Zagatala region Alibayramli village, Tovuz region Agbulag village, Guba region Alimammadoba village, Gusarregion Lajat village, Masalli region #2, Lankaran region Havzava village, Saatli region Mammadabad village secondary schools.
