On May 21 at School-lyceum No. 8 named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva located in Khachmaz took place a scientific and practical conference on the theme of “Constant development of the modern education: realities, prospects.”

Azərbaycan Xalq Cümhuriyyəti hökumətinin 1918-ci il 28 may tarixli qərarı ilə maarif və təhsil üzrə ilk nazirlik-Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyi yaradılıb. Nazirlər Şurasının 30 iyun 1918-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin üç şöbədən (ümumi orta təhsil, ali və orta ixtisas təhsili, peşə məktəbləri) ibarət strukturu təsdiq olunub.

Azərbaycan SSR Xalq Komissarları Sovetinin 28 aprel 1920-ci il tarixli qərarı ilə Xalq Maarifi Nazirliyinin adı dəyişdirilərək Xalq Maarifi Komissarlığı adı ilə yenidən təşkil edilib və ölkədəki bütün təhsil müəssisələri bu qurumun tabeliyinə verilib.

On May 21 at School-lyceum No. 8 named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva located in Khachmaz took place a scientific and practical conference on the theme of “Constant development of the modern education: realities, prospects.”

The conference was attended by the Minister of Education Misir Mardanov, head of Khachmaz District Executive Power Shamsaddin Khanbabayev, department directors of the Ministry, workers of Institute for Education Problems, heads of Education departments of Khachmaz, Absheron, Guba, Siyazan, Gusar, Shabran, Khizi, teachers and school directors. In the first place Education Minister Misir Mardanov and head of Khachmaz District Executive Power Shamsaddin Khanbabayev laid the wreath at national leader Heydar Aliyev’s monument. Moreover, the Minister and guests became familiar with newly built Children – Youth Chess School located in the centre of the district. Further, conference attendees laid a wreath at the bust of the academician Zarifa Aliyeva erected in the front of school. They also became familiar with the handcrafts' exhibition of pupils in the foyer of school, and attended the Zarifa Aliyeva Museum. Moreover, they attended the Open Lesson of mathematics teachers Rena Nurullayeva at the VII class, and Umgulsum Fatullayeva in the first class. Speaking at the opening Education Minsiter Misir Mardanov talked about reforms held in the country over recent years. He highly praised measures taken to develop socio-economic conditions of districts, and building of new schools in regions.

Mr. Mardanov noted that pursuant to the attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev our education has reached its highest level on development. Talking about new subject curriculums, and other impending issues the Minister underlined the works in this direction will be continued, and great successes will be achieved in the future. Head of Khachmaz District Executive Power Shamsaddin Khanbabayev, correspondent member of ANAS Vagif Abbasov and others have expressed their views on educational reforms implemented in the country.
