3 medals from the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad
The IX European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) took place as a purely virtual event because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Zahra Bayramli, 11th grade student of the Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Lyceum under the Ministry of Education, Aysun Bayramli, 10th grade student of the Humanitarian subjects School-Lyceum and Fidan Garayeva, 8th grade student of Baku Secondary School No. 257 successfully represented our country in the science competition and won bronze medals.
It should be noted that 205 students from 53 countries have competed at this year's Olympiad. This is the fourth time this year that our schoolchildren have participated in the science competition.
