Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov meets with UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education
On October 5, Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov met with UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education Stefania Giannini as part of his visit to France to attend a symposium under the theme “Developing Human Capital, Building a Better Future” on Baku’s bid to host World Expo 2025.
The minister highlighted the reforms carried out in recent years under the “State Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan”, which was approved by the President. The minister hailed First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva`s role in building dynamic relations between Azerbaijan and UNESCO.
They noted the development of Azerbaijan-UNESCO relations in the field of education and discussed cooperation prospects.
