SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Minister of Education continues Turkey visit
A delegation led by Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov visited the monument to the national leader in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Ankara on February 22.
The Azerbaijani delegation also put a wreath at the tomb of the founder of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Ataturk at Anitkabir.
The minister of education signed the guest book here.
Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov then visited Heydar Aliyev School in Ankara, and addressed pupils.
Mikayil Jabbarov then met with Minster of National Education of the Republic of Turkey Ismet Yilmaz. They hailed friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of education.
Minister Mikayil Jabbarov then had a meeting with chairman of the Directorate of Turks Living Abroad and Related Communities Mehmet Kose. They discussed a range of issues, including the expansion of student exchange and application of different scholarship programs.
