SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The presentations of "SABAH volunteer" program was held in 7 higher education institutions in Baku.
Hundreds of students, studying in SABAH groups of Baku State University, Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and Azerbaijan University of Languages, attended presentations.
During the presentations, the participants were informed about the "SABAH volunteer" program, its objectives and areas of activities by the volunteers, studying in SABAH groups. Volunteers noted that "SABAH volunteer" program, carried out with the participation of students of SABAH groups of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic plays a significant role in increasing the social activity and applying knowledge to practice, as well as developing management skills and leadership potential of students without leaving the academic training. The students (in the form of teams), acting as "SABAH volunteer", participate in the organization of projects, programs and events, and carry out various campaigns. Thus, they apply the knowledge and skills gained by them in teaching process and get the opportunity to acquire professional skills during the period of the studentship.
During the presentations, the volunteers expressed their opinions about upcoming Baku 2015 First European Games. It was noted that the campaigns, related to the European Games, were expected to be implemented in 7 higher education institutions within the framework of "SABAH volunteer" program. The participants invited the students to join the Baku 2015 First European Games as a volunteer.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at Azerbaijan Technical University, Humay Javadzadeh (SABAH volunteer) noted that the first European Games is a significant event in our country: "We will make history with the organization of the Baku 2015 First European Games. Of course, every young person, every student would want to be a part of this great event. Acting as "SABAH volunteer" will allow us to support the European Games and to achieve success".
Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at Azerbaijan University of Languages, Aygun Bayramova (SABAH volunteer) said that she is proud to have the opportunity to contribute to the first European Games: "Volunteering is a choice, but it is proud to be a part of the first European Games as "SABAH volunteer".

It should also be noted that SABAH groups have been organized from Educated, Skilled and Trained students studying at higher education institutions under the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic in order to improve the quality of education in higher education, to ensure personnel training in accordance with modern requirements and to create the new environment in the higher education system. Currently, SABAH groups cover 755 students in 34 specialties in 7 higher education institutions (Baku State University, Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and Azerbaijan University of Languages).
